How do you describe your identity? Caucasian, gay leaning bisexual, ginger who’s a vegetarian, animal lover, and music lover.
Please describe your coming out experience. Where did you find support? What challenges did you face? College and Community Organizations like yours have really helped me explore my sexuality without judgement
How would you describe yourself NOW in terms of “being out”? Yes
Tell me about the first LGBTQ person whom you met. What impact did they have on your life? My best friend Chaz. I treated him like my straight best friends. The same, because sexuality shouldn’t change the way you treat someone.

Have you ever experienced discrimination based on your identity? Specifically, in a job setting, when applying for housing or while in public. No. But it’s not the first thing I tell people about myself. Those that know, find out, or have told have been supportive.
Have you experienced microagressions based on your identity? Think everyday indignities & slights that you experience, but would not characterize as discrimination. Please describe in your own words. I tend to ignore bigots
Tell us about your access to health care in Western PA. Has it been LGBTQ competent (or not?) I don’t know
Are there issues impacting your LGBTQ neighbors that aren’t visible or part of the local dialogue? Many LGBTQ* members are closeted in fear of being judged. We kinda need a #metoo moment for LGBTQ.
What would you like to see elected officials do to improve life for LGBTQ Pennsylvanians? More representation, and unification of LGBTQ orgs. I literally can’t keep track of all the LGBTQ organizations
