National Coming Out Day

It is October 11, 2010.

How are you acknowledging or honoring this event?

I'm going to come out to someone.  Not sure whom that will be.  Social media won't count.

Stay tuned …

  • In honor of NCOD I will be flying from Chicago to Pittsburgh to do my part in fusing the LGBT community with the straight community in the name of performance art. As a lesbian performing artist I usually don't mix my audiences out of fear of confusion. This will be my first time mixing the two in honor of the LGBT's victims of discrimination. I will also be doing a book signing for my new book Lesbian Chronicles: The Black Life at a predominately hetero poetry event. Please come out and support the cause “UNITY!”
