Breaking: Our Change.Org Petition Met Signature Goal in Under 36 Hours

Just a quick note to thank everyone for their support. It isn’t the easiest thing in the world to run two simultaneous crowdsharing type tasks, but with your support – we are getting there.

Our petition at Change.org just reached the initial goal of 500 signatures in less than 1.5 days! We’ve had media inquiries so stay tuned and please keep sharing (and educating me about web filters and municipal policies – so much good information being shared!)

Also, I want to thank you for voting me into 3rd place in the national scholarship competition for the Netroots Nation conference – THIRD PLACE.  Voting continues until May 7 so please share this link to help make sure Pittsburgh and a small LGBTQ blog voice is at the table. I need to take a little Pgh with me – any suggestions?
