The Prompt: Tell us about the favorite dish or food that you simply cannot turn down.
This is surprisingly difficult to answer. I suppose “brownies” is both most likely to be offered and most likely not to be turned down. I’ve loved brownies since I was a kid and met the “10 minute mix” box. Actually, I think it was a bag? Sadly, I cannot bake brownies worth a damn – even from a box. They are always too soft or too hard. And I rarely buy them because I would likely consume all of them quickly.
What’s not to love? It’s like a little cake all of your own with the efficiency of a cookie and no plates to deal with at all.
No, I’ve never had a marijuana brownie. That I know of.
I already told you that I cannot bake them.
I intensely dislike Texas sheet cake which is a poor excuse for a brownie substitute.
Yes, I like blondies, too. Not with M&M’s though.
I don’t like nuts. Just plain brownies.
And strangely enough I don’t feel a hankering for brownies right now.
