Fish Fry Friday March 27 with Judah Fellowship on the North Side

Our fish fry tour was derailed this year by a busy calendar of events, but I am very pleased to note that one of our favorites is returning this year – the annual fish fry at Judah Fellowship on the North Side (near AGH.) Last year, we voted this the “Best Mac and Cheese” fish fry. It should be preserved for future generations, it is that good.

It returns at the end of March for all to enjoy.

Date: Friday, March 27, 2015

Time: 11 AM – 7 PM

Location: Judah Fellowship Christian Church 120 Parkhurst Street Pittsburgh, PA 15212 (near AGH ER entrance)

Price: Sandwiches start at $8 and meals at $10

Delivery is available.

Now I’m putting this onto our calendar of things to do. I hold the pastor, Reverend Shanea Leonard, in the highest regard. She’s a very thoughtful, smart leader with a lot of compassion and wisdom. We spoke very late one evening about the disappearance of Andre Gray and her entire faith community became involved very rapidly to support Andre’s family and help with the search. She spends her holidays with homeless youth at the GLCC. She’s marched from Oakland to Grant St and many other miles to show that #blacklivesmatter.

Shanea Leonard and her congregation are there for us, all of us. This is a chance to enjoy their hospitality and show our appreciate for their good work. Don’t forget the mac and cheese – you won’t regret it!
