  • My wonderful friend Anna introduced me to Tori when I was in my late teens/early twenties and I have been in love with her music ever sense. She has traveled the world with me as I have grew and she has always been by my side.

  • I listened to Tori when I was a bit younger but I didn’t become entranced by her until I was 19. I had just come out and I was having a hard time with the girl I was with. I would put on Little Earthquakes and paint. It lifted my spirits, danced with me through the layers of emotional pains I was feeling and helped me through the rough time.
To this day, there is nothing that makes me happier then an open window with a spring breeze and listening to Tori sing.

  • I was introduced to Tori during my struggle while coming out in 1995. I heard Little Earthquakes on WYEP. Went out the next day and got the cd in Oakland. Tori helped me through a lot, and everytime I hear her on the radio I get the same chills I got the first day I heard her.

  • I was introduced to Tori when I was 17 & living in Hagerstown Maryland for the summer. The friend I was living with introduced me to her. At first I was like WHAT IS THIS??!! Being that I was more so a Pop, Rock, & R&B kind guy. She eventually grew on me the more I listened to her & now I couldn’t live without her voice in my life! These albums are two of the greatest albums she has ever put out!! “Never was a cornflake girl” =)

  • I was introduced to Tori through research. I’ve been a fan of other female singer songwriters (Regina Spektor and Fiona Apple) who mentioned her as wonderful. So, I decided to look her up and it’s been love ever since! Her piano playing skills are beautiful and her lyrics intelligent and fascinating.

  • A friend who moved here from Texas to work where I did in 2006 introduced me to Tori’s music. Sad to say, I don’t have any of her CDs of my own.

  • the year was 1995. i was 10 years old and visiting my cousin who is four years older than me. she told me she had these two cds she must play for me and took me to the attic where we would often go and listen to albums really loud on her CD player. I remember being instantly drawn to that raw voice. it was like nothing i had ever heard before and yet felt so familiar at the same time. by the time we got to the end of “me and a gun”, we were both bawling our eyes out. not just because of the subject matter but also because we knew right then and there that we had discovered something so amazing.
