What Do You Want to Know About Your LGBTQ Neighbors?

Do you have a burning question about LGBTQ life in Western Pennsylvania?

As I’ve been working on the AMPLIFY! LGBTQ project, I’m pondering the types of questions that will get to the Amplify LGBTQheart of the lived experiences of our neighbors – from Waynesburg to Erie. So I’m going to open the floor to you, dear readers, and ask for suggestions. Please leave a comment with your questions (and any further explanation you want to add.)

The interviews will focus on residents of the 26 counties of Western PA (including college students) who identify as part of the LGBTQ community. If participants request it, we will protect their identities.

So give us some suggested questions either in the comments or via social media using the hashtag #AMPLIFYlgbtq At the beginning of May, we’ll randomly select suggestions to win terrific prizes including

  • $25 gift card – Eat’ n Park (1 winner)
  • $25 gift card – Starbucks (1 winner)
  • $50 gift card – Crazy Mocha (1 winner)
  • Tee shirts & more fun items from Most Wanted Fine Art & Pittsburgh Printing Press
  • Music, videos and more.

To enter, leave your question in the comments or on our social media pages with the hashtag #AMPLIFYlgbtq  You can enter as often as you like. The project team reserves the right to exclude questions that are disrespectful and/or offensive.
