A “Forbidden Night” would have been going to Jersey to see Love and Van Zandt and the Monmouth Symphony Orchestra play at the Asbury Park Paramount Theatre a couple of weeks ago. Oh my Jersey roots ache with longing . . . to have been there.
For me… low lights, slow dancing, and laying under the stars.
For me, a forbidden night would be going to Jersey with Carolyn Speranza to see Love and Van Zandt, and instead of walking into the Paramount Theatre, I accidentally fall into a dimension of the Supranos and Tony Soprano is no longer dead, but alive and….. well…. he is a corpse. He demands I sacrifice Carolyn so that he can show her the delights of a Forbidden Night. I give her up and SHAZZAM! I am suddenly walking into the theatre and Love is doing her sound check.
— WTF, right?
