Celebrating National Love Your Pet Day Lesbian Style

If you are connected with me on FB, Twitter, or Instagram – you know I love to share my pet photos. Our crew currently consists of 13 year old Ana the Chihuahua mix, 18 year old Simon the long haired black cat, 10 year old Coco our Siamese girl and 10 year old Precious, our sweet tigerstriped girl. All are rescues – Ana came from a rescue group, the other three came to us from the street.

We also have added our new formerly feral girls, Maylee and Mamma Mia to the mix. They are segregated in our second bedroom until they are more tame, but they are sweet babies, too. We think they are either mother-daughter or sisters as they were a bonded pair of females when we trapped them.

Our outside colony ebbs and flows. Right now we have Mr. Pajamas, Lothario, Big Natasha, and Big Boris. These are working names that help us distinguish who came to visit when we discuss cats.

I really do love these critters. I would like to have another dog to act in a mental health support dog way. I miss my big guys who passed a few years ago. But I don’t know if that is in the cards.
