  • Previously I would have said “you wouldn’t like me” but after the album love you to death came out I was watching tv with my mom and they were to preform and i said “oh i love them” and they began playing “Boyfriend” which my mom (a lovely homophobe who doesn’t even slightly support me) began yelling about (“what the hell kind of song is this?!”. I know it sounds silly but it made the song mean so much more to me, just knowing how accidentally uncomfortable it helped me make her!
