I’ve never knowingly been to Esplen or Oakwood or St. Clair in the City of Pittsburgh.

In Allegheny County, I’ve never been to Thornburg Borough.

I don’t adore any neighborhood. I’m curious about ways the North and Western communities remind me of my childhood in West Mifflin. I’m curious about my family ties to places that no longer exist.

I think we spend the most time in Ross Township. I do like poking around at quaint new spots in the region. But adore is too strong a word for me.
