In October, we created a crowdfund to benefit the Homeless Cat Management Team. Our goal is to raise $2500 to purchase trap/neuter/return (TNR) supplies including a drop trap kit, humane traps, carriers, gloves, nets and so forth to have available for Northsiders rescuing cats.
The gear will be the property of HCMT, but live with volunteers who are on the Northside so they can be quickly loaned out when they are needed.
- TNR feral and homeless cats.
- Trap an escaped resident cat.
- Secure cats during house fires.
We were fortunate enough to tap into a 100% match so right now we literally need $390 in actual donations to wrap up this project, buy the supplies, and trap more cats. Believe it or not, there are kittens outside right now.
If you can donate $5, that will get us $10 closer to the goal.
