This photo was taken 30 years ago, December. It was cold. DC is cold in December. I remember this sweater and coat, I felt so grown up. The woman who took the photo was Santorum’s secretary, Deborah (I think.) I was sort of hesitating about traveling in just for the photo, but she insisted I would value it one day as a keepsake.
Possibly the biggest understatement of my life.
I’m sharing right now because that anniversary is coming up, but also because my previous content about Santorum has been drawing huge numbers of readers – especially the post about Maria Butina. I don’t know why. If you Google them together, up pops my blog post. It is super weird.
