You saw the social media news that Dick’s is one of many corporations resisting the overturn of Roe v Wade by offering their employees enhanced benefits to access needed reproductive healthcare? As with many things in this United States, social change ebbs into the consciousness of corporate America before the minds of elected officials. I do not believe that capitalism will save the day, by any means. But I do believe that we need to acknowledge allies and point out that “MOST” companies do not agree with the Supreme Court. That’s just being smart.

On that note, I have a request – one of our trail cameras has gone missing. We use these to track the daily activities at our colonies and pull into use to track missing/lost cats and other purposes. So losing one is a blow.

I learned that Dick’s is having a Fourth of July sale and thought – why not ask our supporters to help purchase a replacement camera and support Dick’s at the same time?
