Be sure to check out the questionnaires on the SCSD website. All of them. Read all of the questions and responses. It is definitely not a fair assumption that an out LGBTQ candidate has a solid grasp on LGBTQ political history or policies. Don’t make their mistake of ignoring the facts. Educate yourself.

Three of the six folx who have returned OUR campaign Q&A’s were endorsed by SCSD. We are waiting for responses from 11 other endorsed candidates and hope the remaining endorsees will reach out to us to request their own. Our Q&A’s are not endorsements.

Congratulations to everyone who secured an endorsement, the newly elected internal officers, and to the members of the SCSD who have completed this important task.

The SCSD endorsement should be part of your election toolkit. They’ve been weighing in since 2000 or so when the chapter was established. That’s a lot of institutional knowledge. I heard a rumor today that the national Stonewall Democrats may be resurrected. Stay tuned …
