Good morning.
You did a great job this week and since we began this effort to target communitis that want to distribute #ProtectTransKids signs locally.
We’ve sent 50 signs each to six communities – City of Butler, Brookline, Carnegie, Fox Chapel, McCandless, and City of Washington.
This past week, we’ve been focused on Pittsburgh Public Schools – we want to send 100 signs for the GSA advisors and students to distribute as they see fit. This was organized with the #DayOfSilence in mind. DOS was Friday and we didn’t quite hit that mark – we still need $340.
We will keep this active through the weekend. After that, the gap will be filled by Pittsburgh LGBTQ Charities from our pretty meager budget. I’m not disappointing these students. This will mean delaying some other projects, but so be it.
If you can chip in, please do so today or tomorrow.
