It is once again the time of year to cast your votes in Pittsburgh City Paper ‘Best of Pittsburgh’ Reader’s Poll.

Voting Rules: You can vote once per day, per category. Some categories will contain more than 5 entrants because of Tie Votes.

Best Charity Fundraiser is one that I’m personally proud of. In twelve months, we crowdfunded nearly $50,000 for the #ProtectTransKids projects. So lots of small donations helped us produce 2000 yard signs and 10,000 stickers, plus gift cards for LGBTQ youth. So this is a celebration of our cause and all of the supporters. No swag bags, no fancy attire, no red carpet. Just planting a sign for hundreds of passersby to see.

Best Social Justice Organization is another thrilling category. We’ve worked very hard this past year on a project that we didn’t see coming. We’ve worked hard to be intersectional across our mission.

Honored to once again be a finalist in the Best Blog category under Pittsburgh Lesbian Correspondents. This would be our third win. More importantly, it sends a message to the nation about the value of women in media.
