It Takes Your Borrowed Extension Cords, Portable Tables, and Parking Cones to Make Our BackYard Sale Run

The clock is ticking for the (back)YardSale on Sat Sept 7, 2024 in Manchester

Everything got delayed when we found a bedraggled cat on Faulsey Way. Turns out she’s 16 years old and weighs 4 lbs!  She’s now in Marie’s bathroom after a vet visit that cost $430. Once her bloodwork comes back, we’ll try to find a rescue. This is the work you support with the yard sale.

Please help us and the rescues we support (seven attached to this event)  Saving Peyton means we need your help more than ever.

1. Portable tables to borrow Thurs – Sun. Can be dropped in my backyard at 1440 Faulsey Way. Look for yellow cat sign.

2. Two long outdoor extension cords. See above about dropping off.

2.5.  several orange parking cones from 9 AM – 1 PM to route traffic

Items needed for yard sale

3. Our tote bag donation fell through. If anyone has connections with a retail outlet that will donate tote or paper bags, please make the ask.

4. Volunteers

  • Sun – Weds: make a poster board telling Peyton’s story
  • Thursday: transport sale items two blocks; truck or SUV, car can make multiple trips. Afternoon ideal.
  • Friday: help set up sale in my backyard. All day starting at 10 AM. Any chunk of time is a help.
  • Sat: run the sale, help customers, oversee raffle baskets, carry items to cars, answer questions. Lunch provided from Bistro to Go
  • Sat afternoon – pack up, deliver items to rescues (if possible) general breakdown tasks
