Bombas LGBTQ+ Pride Socks: Unexpected Hole Ruins Otherwise Excellent Socks

Devastated to find hole in the toe of my #LGBTQ Bombas socks.

In December 2021, received a full #Pride set (plus Grover) as a gift. LGBTQ rainbow, Bisexual flag, Lesbian flag, Trans flag AND the Progress Pride flag.

Bombas donated socks for each pair sold. They invest in LGBTQ+ organizations among others.

These socks are incredible – comfortable, warm, no sagging, hold up in washer/dryer just great. For nearly three years. I wear them often. A lot. My feet are always cold. I wear them year round even with sandals. People always comment.

I wore the Progress Pride flag socks when I threw the first pitch at the Pirates Pride Night in 2022. I was so proud to display them to that huge crowd. I’m sure the socks helped me throw a good pitch.

The sad thing is these socks are no longer available. Bombas still produces cool socks, but the Pride flags were a limited edition. Given the state of the world, representation really matters.

I can still wear the holey sock with a thin gray sock underneath. But it will expand. I have no one in my life who can darn it.

This is not a tragedy or a sign from the universe. It’s a disappointment, foreshadowing many over the next four years. I can probably find rainbow Pride socks elsewhere.

But I swear by all of my cats that everyone should get @Bombas socks. It’s a great gift for winter holidays. Encourage them to bring this series back.

Bombas does have a guarantee and will send me a replacement pair – I think – BUT not the same style.

I’m curious why they stopped selling this collection in the first place. They have a different collection now in seemingly more muted and subtle tones (hmm) but that’s out of stock, too. I filled out the return form and now await my happiness expert to help me out.

I love socks and wear them year round as I mentioned. It is probably time to thin the herd a bit and try some other brands. But when you find a product you love, you love it.

Let me add, this is solely my opinion – not a compensated review, not a promotion, not an ad. I didn’t receive products for this – they were purchased years ago.
