Pittsburgh Lesbian Correspondents was founded in December 2005 to provide a lesbian point of view on all things Pittsbsurgh, a Pittsburgh point of view on all things lesbian. It quickly grew into a political presence covering both LGBTQ issues as well as related progressive issues – with the unique twist of putting national issues into local perspective and vice versa. Pittsburgh Lesbian Correspondents is one of the few ongoing LGBTQ blogs from a small to medium sized city helmed by a woman.
