As we reported earlier, 23 year old Dakota Leo James has been missing for nearly a week from Pittsburgh. A Maryland native, Dakota now lives on the Northside of Pittsburgh where he works fulltime for JB Hunt and attends grad school at Duquesne University.
This morning, Dakota’s mother Pamela James shared this update on Facebook
We have learned a new piece by of information that we can confirm Dakota was last seen at 11:49pm at the intersection of Liberty and Smithfield. More surveillance information will hopefully be received to tell us more of this story. So today, that is where we will begin.
I’m sure the police are watching video footage from all nearby businesses, but if you happen to know anyone who might have been in that part of town last Wednesday around midnight – ask them if they recognize the photo.
He’s 23. A kid, really, at least to my 46 year old self. A young man who deserves his photo to get a second glance. We have to come after all of the missing young people with all that we have.
