Cirque du Soleil is back. The amazing sow, Corteo, will be at the PPG Paints Arena from January 16-20, 2019 for just 7 performances in this limited run. Tickets start at $59.
Cirque holds a special place in my heart. My first performance was the evening we learned that our oldest niece was going to join the family, just months before I launched this blog. So the sensory experience of joy and anticipation were very much part of the evening’s performance.
In 2011, I enjoyed being part of media night as I adjusted to my new life as a person who had more time to blog.
In 2017, Cirque was here while I was recovering from my hysterectomy so Laura and a friend attended.
But this year – it will my turn to revisit the magic and mystery. It seems quite fitting that I just saw Mary Poppins Returns this past weekend, a movie that remindem me so much of Cirque.
I still have my souvenir cup from the 2011 Totem show and use it every once in awhile to give myself a boost.
