The Pittsburgh Free Pet Stuff Store Now Accepting Donations of Gently Used Pet Items

Your semi-regular reminder that the #FreePetStuffStore accepts gently used pet stuff items to redistribute to colony caretakers, rescuers, trappers, and pet owners. We have a storage unit that is currently storing our soon-to-be-built shed.

The title Free Pet Stuff Store 15233 is a working title to describe a Free Store focusing on gently used and excess pet items. Volunteers will maintain a list of individuals in need of these items, including rescues, and arrange for delivery as they arrive. It will also give pet owners who lose a beloved pet a special place to donate their items to help other animals. It will be appointment only, not a retail space.

Why knickknacks? We are making raffle baskets to donate to pet themed fundraisers. We have the base items (candles, yard signs, sturdy branded tote bags, stickers, pens, etc) but thought it would be a fun way to pass along extra decorative items to appreciative neighbors. And help many wonderful local animal groups raise much needed funds. It’s us filling a gap!
