My Advice to the #CatLadies4Kamala #ClawsOut2024

While I am a political person, I don’t really do a lot of political organizing things – mostly because I’m anxious. On the other hand, I organize a political Q&A series, spending many hours knocking on email doors to get the completed surveys returned to me. You can read those Q&A’s here and email pghlesbian@gmail.com […]

Disability Pride Month: The Stories I Can’t Explain

Here’s how disability pride works. I’ve been home now for over four months. That’s a significant accomplishment, one many people doubted I could manage. Our blog has historically customized and distributed Q&A’s to candidates for political office. We want them to engage our readers, of course, but also to have information available for the general public. […]

A Q&A With the 2024 Pittsburgh Dyke March Organizers

Dyke March logo

It’s not a label exclusive to binary women. It is a lesbian inclusive, trans inclusive, nonbinary inclusive, genderqueer inclusive, agender inclusive, sexuality inclusive term. We are all a family under one dyke umbrella. Pittsburgh’s Dyke March history stretches back to 2006. I recently put together a timeline of that history, culminating in the 13th march […]

Since 2020, We Have Tracked the Violent Deaths of 36+ Trans Youth, 21 and Under.

The #ProtectTransKids project has been debating our next steps. We have distributed 2000 yard signs, thousands of stickers, and more. We have a network of volunteers, a lot of data, and an organized system thanks to a volunteer coordinator. But our supply has run out. Because we do not charge individuals for signs, we need […]
